Baseline/Endline Surveys

Baseline/Endline Surveys, Research and Evidence Building

Humanation undertakes baseline assessment to better understand the needs and requirements of the community. Baseline survey promotes better intervention methods and drawing of short and long term plans to yield maximum impact for your organisation. The mid line and endline surveys are necessary to see the trajectory and intended outcomes of social projects, which enable us for course corrections and new approach if required in a project. These are all necessary tools for ensuring the effectiveness and outreach of CSR projects, and are important as big money is involved in large projects, and not knowing it may make the entire CSR exercise futile.

Why rely on us for your baseline surveys and assessments?

Humanation has maximum geographical outreach through its extensive network of survey partner agencies and consultants, reaching even the most underdeveloped locations in India. Methodology includes interviewing stakeholders through various approaches such as PRA, FGD, PI, action-oriented research, and collaborative action research.

Surveys are conducted in a sensitive manner with consideration for respondent safety and privacy. Sample size is calculated using population frame and divided proportionally across demographic parameters and gender. Stratified random sampling is used to ensure unbiased representation in impact studies. Data is collected through semi-structured questionnaires (quantitative) and FGDs observation and other methods (qualitative).

⦁ Humanation conducts comprehensive and in-depth research through regional studies and government/relevant report review for better intervention planning, relying on community feedback for a better understanding of on-ground realities. SPSS/R is used for quantitative data analysis, manual coding and Atlas.ti for qualitative data analysis. Other methods can be used per client requirement. PAPI or CAPI methods are used for surveys.
